Covid 19 Precautions

While I am delighted to be able to offer face to face services again, the health and safety of my clients and myself is of the upmost priority.

In order to minimise the risk of transmission the following precautions have been implemented:

  • Home visits have been suspended

  • Office space and equipment are disinfected each morning and between each client (resources and equipment that are not easily disinfected have been removed)

  • Hand sanitizers are available at the main entrance and immediately on entering the office

  • Clients are asked to arrive on time, not early, for sessions and where possible only one adult should attend with their child.  Adult clients are asked to attend alone

  • Adults will be required to wear a face covering (unless actively taking part in sessions)

  • I wear a Face Shield during all sessions and make use of a screen for table top activities.  A distance of at least 1m is maintained where possible

  • Clients complete a temperature check and a Covid questionnaire / disclosure at the beginning of each session

  • The ADOS-2 assessment, used during Autism assessments, is not valid for use with PPE or social distancing measures.  Therefore in some cases an alternative assessment called the BOSA (Brief Observations of Symptoms of Autism) will be offered.  If you would like to discuss this further please contact me.
